Director
Atticus Parker is a director, writer and sound designer from Los Angeles and a recent graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. Checkout is his first independent short outside of film school. Atticus currently works freelance as a production sound mixer and sound designer, and has served as a production assistant on Mariska Hargitay’s HBO Original documentary My Mom Jayne. As a writer and director, he hopes to create films that make people think about their lives, question their assumptions and appreciate the little joys more than they did before.

Director of Photography
Zenzelé is an Afro-Latina artist skilled in cinematography and photography, driven by storytelling that explores identity and the human experience.
She is a recent graduate from the University of Southern California in the School of Cinematic Arts with an emphasis in Cinema and Media Studies. As a Cinematographer, Camera PA, 1st AC, and Camera Operator, Zenzelé has worked on over 50 short films, music videos, tv productions including HBO’s Euphoria, and commercials for brands such as Hennessy and Vans. She recently shot a short film, En Avant, for Neutrogena Studios which has screened at Sundance, NFFTY, PAFF, etc., and has won Best Student/Youth Film at the Nevada Women’s Film Fest and Harlem International Film Festival.
Zenzelé embraces unconventional creativity to challenge narratives about Black and Brown communities, aiming to create inclusive, truthful, and transformative art. Through the art of cinematography, Zenzelé loves capturing stories that are intimate, imaginative, and liberating to the human experience. She also uses her cinematography to evoke emotion, document moments in history, and above all else inspire others with nuanced cinematic storytelling.

Producer
Amanda Chen is a producer and director based in Los Angeles. With every film Amanda creates, she aims to bridge the gaps between different life experiences and thus connect people across all generations. Amanda is originally from Houston, Texas and attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts Film and Television Production program.
